Revive Consignment exists to demonstrate that the church is more than just a Sunday meeting.
In the past year, they’ve been able to use the limitations set before them to engage and show love to members and strangers.
The traditional Christmas Store model from years past looked a lot like a warm hug – families coming into the church building to receive gifts and meet volunteers and staff. There would be plenty of treats and comfort to go around. This year, there were masks, social distancing and extra safety measures to ensure that the needs of those in the community could still be met.
As a community we have learned to never give up fighting in prayer for this world that Jesus loves, and to expect the unexpected.
When we launched ACT 2 at New Frontiers Church in November 2018, we saw a real opportunity in being able to leverage the benefits of recovery principles for the church community.
COVID has created new opportunities to get creative.
We love serving alongside our neighbors.
