And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
We scatter seed (share the gospel), go to sleep (rest in His grace) and then harvest (gather fruit), but God is the one that brings growth. It’s so encouraging that God does all the heavy lifting! We don’t possess the power to make the church grow, but there are things we can do to hinder the church’s progression. Over the years, Steve Tibbert has coached Jubilee through several seasons where our thinking and systems prevented momentum. I am excited to invite you to a special event where Steve will teach and coach us through common church growth challenges. This is a "can’t miss" event.
In addition, it is a privilege to have Steve’s wife, Deb joining us as well. I would encourage you to invite your wife to engage in this meeting as well.
— Bryan Mowrey, Confluence Churches
